28 best ecommerce blogs in the US to follow in 2026

We put together a list of the best ecommerce blogs in Europe a while back, and the most common question we got after publishing it was some version of “okay, but what about the US?” Fair ask. The American ecommerce landscape has its own mix of platforms, marketplaces, and agencies worth following, so here’s the domestic version of that list.

We kept the same rules as last time: US-headquartered, English-language, and focused on ecommerce or retail as a core subject rather than one topic among many. We also left out direct competitors in the loyalty and rewards space, since a “best of” list from a loyalty vendor recommending its own rivals felt a little disingenuous. We also checked each blog’s publishing cadence and dropped a handful that had gone quiet or stale since our last pass, so every blog below is one that’s still actively updated.

What Makes a US Ecommerce Blog Worth Following?

A handful of things separated the blogs that made this list from the ones that didn’t:

  • They treat ecommerce or retail as their core subject, not as one topic buried among many
  • They publish regularly enough to be useful, not once a quarter
  • They’re headquartered in the US, so the perspective is genuinely American: US platforms, US marketplaces, US shipping and tax realities
  • They go beyond company announcements into trends, data, or advice you can actually apply
  • None of them are direct competitors in the loyalty, rewards, or gift card space, so this list stays a genuinely useful reading list rather than a backdoor pitch

With that out of the way, here’s the full list, grouped by what each blog focuses on.
